Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work

We provide world-renowned programs spanning across social work, philosophy, and nursing.
The University of Southern California consistently ranks among the nation’s top accredited social work graduate programs in U.S. News & World Report. We promote cutting edge research in aging, artificial intelligence, behavioral health, child welfare, crisis and bereavement, homelessness, human trafficking, management and organizations, serious mental illness, substance abuse, social determinants of health, social adaptation to climate change and man-made disasters, and veterans and military families.
The USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work established the first social work doctoral program in the western United States in 1953. Today, we continue to welcome highly motivated, self-directed individuals interested in university research and teaching. Students admitted to the PhD program pursue an in-depth, customized course of study in an atmosphere of careful mentoring and respect for scholarship.
Nursing@USC, the online Master of Science in Nursing from USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Department of Nursing, offers a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program that prepares advanced practice nurses to deliver primary care to infants, children, adolescents and adults throughout their lives.
